HPPavillion hard drive recovery

#1 Post by joaocosta999 »

Hi!
Have HP Pavillion with one hard drive and two partitions (HP Recovery (to recover the original software) and HP Pavillion (my data).

The disk crashed (some bad sector at boot time so it didn't boot, but managed to recover).

Now, problem is..How can I "activate" both partitions at the same time?

It seems that I can only have one of them active, either "HP Recovery" (FAT32) or "HP Pavillion" (NTFS).

The "HP Recovery" is, normally, hidden.

I'm sure there must be some solution like the one for the Dell machines where the FAT32 partition type is changed to DE, but not sure which partition type to use.

Help, please.. :)

Thanks.
