Powerloss during HD operation = messy partition table

Please help, Do I use the disk utility to [Format (do not override existing data)] to get back my partition table? Or is there much more to it?
I am using an A-SATA dock with a WD green 3.0TB for data storing in a Linux Mint system.
While a .rar file was unzipping we had a powercut. The UPS didn't work (battery failure)
Bummer!
Now the disk is visible in Disks

but shows this message when attempting to access in Dolphin:

I booted into Windows but while the disk is visible as disk0 it has no drive letter so I cannot chkdsk it.
