Thank you very much for your reply.

Well, I'll explain you:
- after a first scan with testdisk all previous five partition were found
- after further scans it remains freezed at 33%, so i stopped it and only three partitions are detected
- of these three partitions, just two of them list files, so i luckly could recover most of them

My purpose now is to detect the two remaining lost partitions to check if any data is still listed..
Cloning disk may be a bit too difficult for me (i don't even know how long does cloning take) and i have not any other hard disk or partition of that size at the moment.

About the software you suggested: I checked the disk with HD Tune and it revealed a warning status with several bad sectors detected (however, every scan shows different bad sector map). Is this software enough or shall I try Crystal too?
