I think my HDD may be toast

#1 Post by butcherblair »

Long story short......left on vacation, brother was using computer while watching house. He dual booted android then tried to delete it before I came home. Oh and did I also mention he attempted to fix it? Anyways, try to boot window from a USB and I get a blue screen saying windows cannot locate a file PC needs repair. It saying I'm missing system32/win load.exe and showing error 0xc000000e. I can boot into gparted and I see three partitions. One unallocated and 1 gig, another 9 gig and msftdat flag and ntfs, the other 109.24 gig and same description as the last. And my drive is a ssd 250gig. It is a Samsung at if 700T with windows 8 pro originally. Please, if anything show me how to wipe this thing and start over factory.
