Testdisk: Bogus Drive Info

Noob here:

Have a failed WD 320G connected with a USB disk converter. Host PC OS is MSW7.

TestDisk reports host drive capacity as 320G, which is correct.

But, it reports the failed drive capacity as 11227T.

Opinions?

Thank,

Gordo

Can you post the testdisk.log file content ?

Thanks

/dev/sda is HDD0 in the host computer. It is the same model as the failed drive.

Console displayed a result for /dev/sdb that is not in the logfile. If helpful, I will re-assemble the setup and run testdisk again.

Thanks again,

Gordo

Ran testdisk again. Log file exceeded 1M before I shut it down. I won't try to post it. I will look for a different utility. Thanks anyway.
