Delete Partion Table using testdisk

#1 Post by zues »

Please help.
My USB connector of my USB harddrive broke then I got a separate connector to plug into the SATA port.
Then after plugging in the drive it started saying: Need to format.
I used testdisk and found the partition but it was not bootable. I then went to search- found the data and pressed WRITE.
Then I restarted the computer and it gave some type of error when I clicked the drive.
I went back to testdisk and it says everything was bootable but there was some kind of error.
In fustration I used the Delete command in testdisk??

What are my options for possible recovery of data??

Thanks.
