Found lost partition, but filesystem is corrupt?

I was re-installing Windows 8.1 x64 on my PC and during the Windows Setup, I accidentally deleted all of the partitions from the wrong hard drive.

After my mistake, I installed Windows to the correct hard drive and installed TestDisk.

I'm unsure if the drive was formatted using MBR or GPT. However, I know the drive had one large partition over the entire disk (unless Windows added a small 100 MB recovery partition, but I'm not sure).

If I use MBR, it doesn't find any partitions but if I perform a deeper search it does find one at the backup sector but if I press 'P' to list files it says that filesystem is corrupt.

How should I proceed?

If I perform a search using 'EFI/GPT', then I get numerous false partitions...
