TrueCrypt System HDD went RAW

My HDD with Windows 7 on it and TrueCrypt whole disk encryption got corrupted. I am able to boot the disk, enter TC password and I get the black screen with Windows logo on it, but that's as far as it goes.

I have mounted the HDD as an external drive and am able to see it. The drive has 5 partitions - the first and last of them work OK (even though I can't start Windows which is on the first one), but the other 3 are missing and showing as Free Space.

I've tried running TestDisk but it wasn't able to fix it:

Code: Select all

Current partition structure:
Invalid NTFS or EXFAT boot
 1 * HPFS - NTFS 0 1 1 5221 254 63 83891367
 1 * HPFS - NTFS 0 1 1 5221 254 63 83891367
 2 E extended LBA 5222 0 1 32357 254 63 435939840
Invalid NTFS or EXFAT boot
 3 P HPFS - NTFS 32358 0 1 60800 254 63 456936795
 3 P HPFS - NTFS 32358 0 1 60800 254 63 456936795

test_logical:
Partition sector doesn't have the endmark 0xAA55
After reading more I'm not sure if TestDisk can do anything on a TrueCrypt disk. So my question is - how should I proceed further to try to recover data from the missing partitions? The data isn't vital but it'd save me time if I could get it restored.

Should I try to first decrypt the whole disk and then use TestDisk? Is there a way to decrypt the disk from within Windows as opposed to going the DOS way?

Any basic directions how to go about this case?

It's a good idea to decrypt your complete drive or removing decryption first and then running a diagnose using testdisk.
If decryption causes any trouble, you can have a look at testcrypt?
http://testcrypt.sourceforge.net/

If your disk is decrypted, please let me know to run a diagnose using testdisk.
