A Challenge, sector mismatches

#1 Post by dbxwanderer »

Long story short, I had an internal 3tb drive in my computer. When I moved it to an external adapter, it fubar'd the partition. I deleted the partition, but did not format or create a new one.

I ran TestDisk and it gets stuck at 99% with "Analyse Cylinder 364801/364800: 99%

Below is the export of the log.

I think the only thing that can be done now is to modify the geometry, but i'm really hestitent in doing so. Any experts out there that can help me?

Thanks in advance,

It's just a different thing you could try, being a different operating system it may access the disk in a different way.
