Restore .dd to drive
I saved a copy of my partition to a dd file using TestDisk. I then tried to do something to recover the drive, which didn't work. Now I want to put the drive back to the state it was using the dd file. How can I do that?
Re: Restore .dd to drive
TestDisk doesn't restore an image.
It's only intended to work with and in case if the disk is faulty;

If you want to restore an image, you can use dd.
