I tried to recover a partition that I deleted by accident exFAT, tesdisk not give me any error messages but I still see the windows partition RAW, my drive is an Iomega UltraMax plus 4 TB.

Might be possible that your boot sector is damaged.
Would it be possible to upload a screen from TestDisk / Analyse first?
I'll check your partition table!
ExFAT looks a kind of weird.
Partition type is NTFS but the boot sector is exfat.

I followed the tutorial step by step...
partition files are there..

I selected the option to write... Restart the computer and still see the same problem...
check the boot sector of the disk, and it seems that all is well..

Would it be possible to get a screen from your disk management console?
It's about, right click your computer icon and choose manage.
It will open an applet called computer management.
Click on disk management.
It's intended to check wether your disk type is basic or GPT.
To write a GPT partition successful your disk type must be GPT.
Basic doesn't work.
Also you'll be able to copy files using TestDisk

Red colored files are deleted files.
If you don't need them, easily press h for hide.
To copy/backup your files to another intact disk/partition, you'll find all the commands at the bottom of the screen.
Standard path is your testdisk folder.
If you want to change directories, check these two dots and press enter to get a directory up.
To go into any folder, just check it and use your right arrow key.

Hi fiona thanks for all, the screen of my disk management...
Testdisk does not display all files that had, anyway, i try to recover a file but the recovered folder name is rare and no files in there...

my disk type is basic, i try to convert to a GPT partition but it display an error "the object does not support the operation"...

For recreation of your situation to get your GPT-disk and partition/volume back, I'd need still some infos!

If you delete a partition, your disk is empty/unallocated.
How did you get your RAW-Partition back?
Do you have any idea why your disk appears as basic and not as GPT?
Please don't change anything to your disk anymore.

Hello, the problem started because my daughter moved the RAID configuration and turned on the unit. When Windows could not recognize, went to disk management console and created a partition (I didn't format), then I saw something was wrong, I checked the disc and went to change the switches to their original position, I went back to disk management console and create the partition again but still did not recognize the disc. Listen testdisk power and used it to try to recover my files ... that is why the raw partition appeared and I'm stuck.
90% of files stored on the hard disk is .mts and isn't on the list of file format in photorec
First change are to Simple (Non-RAID), now are in Spanned (JBOD)
