There is no necessety to create any partition.
Can cause more problems.
Easily select your disk and allow testdisk to search for partitions.
If testdisk finds your partition, you can write it to your partition table.
Also Deeper Serach looks for additional for any backup of a boot sector and you can also repair a boot sector.
Please copy and paste the content of your testdisk.log.
Run Analyse and Quick Search.
If no partition is found deeper search also.
Mark your found partitions and have a try to list your data.
