"No file found, Filesystem maybe demaged" , should I write?

#1 Post by Lyair1 »

hi,

My external ADATA 1 GB FAT32 drive stopped to be recognised by my pc, when I go to my computer it just show the new "g:/" drive but it isn't marked as ADATA and when I click on it my computer get into "not responding" mode.

I followed the tutorials here and both the quick and deeper search got the same result:

Then when I try to see the files (click on p) I get:

Should I still try to 'Write'? Or it might damage the drive even more?

Thank you so much.

Difficult to judge?
If you're not sure you shouldn't write something.
I'd need info running testdisk Analyse and your current partition structure.
It's your current partition table and if you already have a partition in your partition table, there would be no necessity to write it again.
Might be possible that you still have another partition in your partition table too?
