HI I have a 2 TB NTFS Ext Drive and I accidentaly partitioned it first to "Free Space" option and then to HFS+. on disk utility.

I'm on deep scan right now but I'm getting this messages

Stop

Is there any other procedure?
Can I recover my Partition?
Thanks

You should complete Deeper Search.
The last sector of your previous NTFS-partition is the backup of the boot sector.
If testdisk find your backup of the boot sector, the partition will be displayed for recovery.
You should select your partition and press p on your keyboard, to have a try to list your files.
Please let me know, did testdisk find your partition and have you been able to list your files?

Hi Fiona, thanks for your quick response. It took 28 hs to complete the deep scan, and after that I got this:
TestDisk 7.0, Data Recovery Utility, April 2015
Christophe GRENIER <grenier@cgsecurity.org>
http://www.cgsecurity.org

Disk /dev/disk1 - 2000 GB / 1863 GiB - 3907029168 sectors

The harddisk (2000 GB / 1863 GiB) seems too small! (< 122660 TB / 111559 TiB)
Check the harddisk size: HD jumpers settings, BIOS detection...

The following partitions can't be recovered:
Partition Start End Size in sectors
> HFS 119481 3907148640 3907029160
HFS 119730 3907148889 3907029160
HFS 120011 3907149170 3907029160
HFS 120220 3907149379 3907029160
HFS 120437 3907149596 3907029160
HFS 121062 3907150221 3907029160
HFS 121367 3907150526 3907029160
HFS 121624 3907150783 3907029160
HFS 122065 3907151224 3907029160
HFS 122338 3907151497 3907029160

[ Continue ]
HFS+ blocksize=4096, 2000 GB / 1863 GiB

I found like 4 NTFS and a lot of fat 32, I selected the ntfs partition and pressed P, but I could't recover any partition.
What can I do?
Thanks

Can you copy and paste the content of your testdisk.log into your next post?
Would it be possible that disk utility changed your partition table type from Intel-MBR to Apple EFI GPT?

Hi Fiona, I couldn't copy and paste the log because it had more than 60000 characters.
Attache you will find the log. I hope it will help.
Thanks
