wrong partition

#1 Post by aryus »

Hello,

Firstly sorry If I do some mistake but I'm French (I know that there is a forum for french but it take a long time to have help )

So, I have 2 HDD in my computer
One for Windows and programs
And the other one for personnal data

After a clean install of Windows 8, I only format the first HDD and made a backup of him in the second.
The second HDD wasn't recognize by Windows, so I used the tools to manage disk with Windows, I create a "simple disk" not dynamical in NTFS, without format.
Same problem, didn't recognize by Windows.

I used Testdisk, he found HFS, FAT 16, FAT 32, linux swap so many many partition and 500Gb not allocated that didn't exist before...
So .. I accept to write this partition table...
Same problem, not recognize

When I used Photorect he found my data, and recover them but not with their name and correct folder... There is hundred thousand files....

How can I just recover my data like before ? Create a simple NTFS partition without format (is it possible ?) ?

Thank you very much

regards
