Can't write to partition [log]

My hard drive refused to boot up randomly and isn't able to be mounted. I've been playing around with TestDisk, but when I try to write to the partition, it gives me an error. I've attached my log file.
Any help would be appreciated.

There are bad sectors. You should clone the disk to a new empty one using gnu ddrescue.

When I attempt to follow the instructions in your link, I get the error "Segmentation fault" when typing lshw -C disk and when typing fdisk -l, it only shows my flash drive (that I'm booting up from).

The 1000GB you see listed is an external I've attached for the purposes of cloning.

Please let me know if there's any hope left or if I should just cut my losses and move on.
Thanks!

Ok, I'm assuming that nothing can be done to recover my files. Thanks anyway.

After Search testdisk found some partitions.
Here is the result:
Results
HPFS - NTFS 0 1 1 121599 254 63 1953503937
NTFS, blocksize=4096, 1000 GB / 931 GiB
HPFS - NTFS 0 32 33 12 223 19 204800
NTFS, blocksize=4096, 104 MB / 100 MiB
HPFS - NTFS 12 223 20 121600 215 23 1953310720
NTFS, blocksize=4096, 1000 GB / 931 GiB
You can select each partition and press p, to have a try to list your files.
If your files are listed, you can copy them to another healthy disk or partition.
During listing files, at the bottom of the display, you'll find all the commands.

I've tried that but no files are listed.
