Partion Sector Doesn't have the endmark 0xAA55

#1 Post by Andrew »

Hey guys i need help recovering files from a USB i have run Test disk but get this when i analyse

Partition sector doesn't have the endmark 0xAA55

I than run quick and deep searches that come up with nothing.

I believe the problem to be caused by pulling the USB without properly being ejected.

Any help would be awesome

There is no partition in the partition table.
When TestDisk doesn't find a boot sector or its backup, there will be no partition displayed for recovery.
In case it's recommedned to run datarecovery software.
PhotoRec could help.
