Would testdisk be able to recover or fix my mistake I made with parted? I accidentally ran mklabel gpt.

What's your OS, file system and size of your disk?
Did you create another partition and format it?
As long as you've nothing written to your disk, TestDisk could help?

I was running debian Linux, 2 different versions. there are 10 partitions, /dev/sda1 - /dev/sda10. My plan was to install Gentoo Linux in place of one of the debian's. So, I booted the minimal install cd, ran parted, then ran the command: `mklabel gpt`, which I didn't need to do, and shouldn't have done, since I had a working mbr. I've not run anything but `print` from parted since. I'm really hoping that testdisk can help.
