When running Test Disk the console encounters an issue where it will not clear old UI data which results in different menus rendering on top of each other making the program nearly impossible if not incredibly dangerous to use as i cant figure out what im actually selecting
This is happening on windows 7 pro x64 running from administrator command line
as you can see from the screen shot i am selecting analyse the partition however the menu for log creation is still rendered underneath
I am wondering if this is caused by custom buffer settings in my console i have it configured for a 10k line history to keep it from truncating during long backup scripts but than again i have yet to encounter this behavior with any other console applications

It's the first time that someone reported such problems.
If you've changed console settings, like buffer, can you set it back to default?
Also running TestDisk, you should disable background processes like antivirus which can affect TestDisk too.
Can you try the recommended suggestions and report it?

Setting the window size to default fixed the issue however in future versions you should have someone check output formatting because generally speaking the window size should not cause this kind of distortion
