Error's and can't find other examples to learn from

#1 Post by Elmore »

I'm a total newb so please forgive me as I'm trying to learn how to use this to recover my hard drive that has all of my kids pictures. Photo_rec does not recover any files from this drive. I've taken screen shot. I've selected a Intel drive as that's what I use. I've chosen to analyse the disk. I then get this once the disk is done analysed.

What do I do from here?

Thank you for your time!

TestDisk 7.1WIP 32bit is recommended.
In testdisk under disk selection you should select your disk instead of your Drive L:.
Disk looks like Disk /dev/sd* (*= a, b, c etc..)

Can you repeat your diagnose?

I've made an image with test disk. Not sure what to do with it now. Here's my log file if that helps.

Thanks!

The testdisk menu "Advanced" will only work when your partition in your partition table is correct.
Did you run Quick Search and Deeper Search too?
Might be possible that another partitions would be found too!
Can you try TestDisk 7.1WIP 32bit instead of TestDisk 7.0?
