Gratitude recovering parts on too big a disk

Recently lost partitions on my 3TB drive (ST3000DM001-1ER166 ATA Device
)due to power problems.
Drive is in my (older) pc-board wich does not recognise 3TB disks. Yet I was able to use most part of the disk.
I very patiently ran testdisk, after windows told me to format the unsupprorted drive.
Managed to recover the partitions.
I am SOOO happy.
