Hello
the other day i installed new cooler for VGA and my 2nd disk is from then recognized as RAW disk 33mb big(should be 1TB) and only 1 partition is seen, and to use that partition it must be formated
i tried some software to recover lost data/partitions but it only sees that one partition, but where are the other 6 gone? I need to recover all those partitions with all the data that was on them...
Can you help me please?

Hello...
Thank you for your fast reply
I installed the program you recommended and when i start it it says "Error opening driver" and all I can see master and slave channels 0 bytes big but no drives
I have Windows 7 64bit
EDIT: Should I update my BIOS and delete all the SATA and drive drivers and restart so Win7 can install it's own new drivers?

An easy way to use hdat2 would be;
Connect your disk internally.
Create a hdat2-boot cd and boot from.
For you is only one thing interesting.
It's SetMAX to have a try to get your disk size back.
If it worked and your data are not available a TestDisk diagnose will follow.

Internally would be just in the case? in the main board like it is? :P

:lol: Sry, then there is no need to plug it internally.
Please have a try to use hdat2 and setMAX.
Is your BIOS up to date?
If not, please update it!

You must create a bootable usb drive.
You can have a look at this tool;
http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=197
Use the hdat2 single version.
