Dear members,
I am trying to rescue a hybrid Seagate ST95005620AS, S/N:5YX1EV4S, FW:TD27 disk that was corrupted during an upgrade to windows 10. After the upgrade my dual boot with xubuntu had (of course) disappeared. I have not been able to repair that. And during the repair actions somehow the Windows 10 partitions got a Deleted status.
Analysing the report of TD I missed a Extended LBA and tried to add it. In the partition type list I could not find a type for an extended partition.
But only after noticing that I could not change the type to E(xtended).
Could someone please explain this.

Re: Missing partition types for extended in list during add partition
Set the partition as L(ogical). An extended container including this locical partition will be automatically created.
