Hello...

I have a WD 1 TB drive. I created 2 identical NTFS partitions in that disk 465 GB per each one. (disk is not bootable)
I decided to create a virtual disk in one of the partitions, but that process delete the partitions in in hard disk.

using testdisk_windows the HD looks like have some errors in the first partition where the virtual disk was created. I assuming the second partition is intact.
I tried to re-create the partitions with windows but the information not appear..

testing other software to recovery information after 4 days could detect only 4%

any suggestion to recovery information of the second partition and avoid to scan and analyses the first one?
BTW I'm creating and image to work.

Regards

Does TestDisk find the partition after Analyse, Quick Search, Deeper Search ?
You can use 'p' on each NTFS partition found to check if it's the partition you are looking for.
If it doesn't work, you can use PhotoRec 7.1-WIP to recover your lost data but it will not find the original filenames.
