Hello!

I would like some assistance on how to recover my files on a raid 0 setup, this raid was created using the intel raid agent through the built-in feature on my motherboard.

Context:
I have 3x 4TB HDD's, two are setup in raid 0 using the intel raid agent, the other is stand alone single partition.
When I updated the bios on my motherboard it likes to revert the storage options from RAID to AHCI and when this happens the raid 0 displays as one drive working, the other not working and the raid is in a failed state. This has happened to me before and I have succesfully used testdisk to restore the raid.
Here is how:
1. Change the MB Bios back to raid
2. Enter the Intel raid agent (ctrl+i) and delete the failed raid, then create a new raid using the exact same name and settings as the failed raid selecting the two HDD's that where in the raid.
3. Load up the OS and run testdisk, select the 8TB physical drive (raid 0), run a quick search and find the partition, confirm by checking the files are correct and restoring.
4. Restart machine, load OS, go into disk management and create simple volume using the same letter and name as failed raid and magic, its back up with all the files.

Now the issue:
I followed the above steps but made a mistake, when re-creating the raid in the Intel raid agent I selected a wrong HDD, I immediately knew I made a mistake when I went to step 4. and created a simple volume only to find it completely empty. I then deleted the simple volume and rectified my mistake by making the raid again with the correct HDD's.
I had to use testdisk to restore the single HDD partition as I had screwed it up by making it apart of the Raid 0 by mistake, I was able to restore it no problem and its back up and running.

But the Raid 0 partition I cannot restore, I am not seeing the same results when I scan to recover all my files.

Can someone help me out here?

Using latest TestDisk 7.1-WIP, try Deeper Search, press Stop after a few seconds. It may be able to find the NTFS partition using the backup boot sector.

Can anyone provide some insight? I ran the PhotoRec software and it would take 23 hours but it can see all the files I lost, I just don't know what I have to do in testdisk to restore.

Please note the above is all using Intel as the option, should I of chosen GPT as the option? The raid 0 is two 4tb drives using intel raid array (hardware) on my motherboard, and in windows it was a single partition Z: drive with lots of files.

Here is the screenshot for the above log of what I can see after deep scan:

The correct partition table type is EFI GPT.
There is a single NTFS partition using the whole Raid,there is no need to search for partitons.
The NTFS filesystem is corrupted. Try TestDisk, Advanced, Boot, RepairMFT.
If it doesn't work, you can use PhotoRec but sorting 8TB of files with generic names will be very long, https://www.cgsecurity.org/testdisk.pdf lists some methods.
