RAW DISK

I, yesterday, accidentally started formatting my harddrive but stop the operation in a very short while but now i cannot reach my data inside that harddrive I have tried a couple of data recovery program but no result. The I discovered TestDisk but it seemed complicated to me I took a look o the pdf but I still don't know which procedure I should use.
