Help! Hint none option with multiple partitions?

#1 Post by Gattree »

Hi all

I'm getting the 'none' hint for a partition I'm try to recover but in this partition it is all music wav, wma, MP3 files and it states that I should not use this option if it's media?... Does anyone have any experience with this ? I instead decided not to use the none option in case it caused some corruption so I went with the Intel option but on the first pass scan it found nothing, I'm now running the deeper scan. If this does not find anything is it safe to use the None option?

I have several partitions on this LaCie samsung 1tb hard drive, 2 of which I managed to recover 1 had films the other games, but it didn't find my music partition which is the one I'm trying to recover as above.
I was able to copy the data on the 2 found partitions but noticed the speed of transfer was much slower than before, does anyone know the cause of that?

Thanks in advance for any help !
