Hi
I was attempting to encrypt a HDD using Securedoc, when the windows 10 laptop restarted during the process as a result the partition has gone into Raw State.
I have attempted to recover data using Test disk, but receive the error " Cant open Filesystem. Filesystem seems damaged. " I have used the Check Bootsector option which comes back OK.
Is there anything else, i can do to recover data using Test Disc.
Thanks
Partition Recovery

Re: Partition Recovery
It's the problem of data encryption. Its encryption may recover data recovery.
You can try PhotoRec to recover data from the unencrypted part of your disk.

Re: Partition Recovery
I have tried using Photorec, but this seems to only recover .jpg files correctly. All Office documents (.doc and .xls) seem to be either corrupt or are full of strange characters instead of actual data.
