Now it is impossible to read/write both under linux and windows.

the drive now appear 8Mb (not 8Gb)

when I use testdisk

Backup boot sector
Bad

First sectors (Boot code and partition information) are not identical.
Third sectors (Second part of boot code) are not identical.

A valid FAT Boot sector must be present in order to access
any data; even if the partition is not bootable.

TestDisk exited normally.
I tried also to change geometry , but I am not able to fix the difference.
I have another identical pendrive and I have seen that it has a different geometry
the broken disk is
Disk /dev/sdb - 8388 KB / 8192 KiB - CHS 1024 1 16, sector size=512

the new (never used) disk is
disk /dev/sdb - 8241 MB / 7860 MiB - USB Disk CHS 1022 254 62 - sector size=512

Can you help me?
Thank you

It's probably an electronic problem. You should replace the pen drive.
