Is it possible to do anything with a USB stick that says No Media?

If Testdisk cannot detect the drive it cannot do anything. Is there anything that can be done for a USB stick that says No Media and is undetectable?

Looks like contacting a data recovery company is the only solution...

It was only a few weeks ago that the drive was reporting the capacity but was not readable, now it won't report capacity either.

There is nothing probably worth spending a lot on for data recovery, I was just interested to know whether anything more could be done with it myself.
