Hi
My hdd (western digital , my passport 1TB ) have some troubles and when i try to open it i faced Cyclic Redundancy Check Error .
i deeply scanned my external hard drive with testdisk-7.1-WIP.dos , at the end, the software showed this message :
i pressed enter then restart my laptop and nothing changed
so i tried other options in Advanced Menu , i tried to create a image to a Silicon-power with 1.81TB free space but after 5 minutes it showed insufficient space in hard drive !
what should i do ?
i tried several times but cant recover my information , my whole life is in it
this is the log file :

Re: Image Creation Bug
You should clone the disk to a new empty one using ddrescue as described in https://www.cgsecurity.org/testdisk.pdf Read the chapters "Creating a live USB" and "DDRescue: data recovery from damaged disk".
Once it's done, remove the original disk and try to recover your data from the clone.
