3TB WD turned to RAW after crash

Hi everyone!

I'm new to this forum and I really relly hope I could get some help!
I dont know if this topic is in the right area since it's about both partition and filerecovery. Sorry If I post in wrong area!

During a filemove from my external WD Elements 3TB to another the computer suddenly stopped responding.
I was then forced to make a reboot and then the trouble started:
  • WD Elements 3Tb showed up as Local Disk.
  • Diskmanagement tool showed the harddrive as RAW and Healthy Primary Partition.
  • WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostics tool showed the harddrive showed PASS for the S.M.A.R.T check
I literally plowed through the net lika a madman trying to find a solution and found out that Testdisk was highly recommended to fix this sort of things.
And here is where I'm really confused.

When starting it it shows me 4 different choices.
td1.PNG
td1.PNG (4.22 KiB) Viewed 2267 times
Then I choose the PhysicalDrive 1 (it detects Intel) and Analyze.
td2.PNG
td2.PNG (4.88 KiB) Viewed 2267 times
If I go back and choose the Drive E: instead and proceed as above it does not detect Intel
Then I choose Intel and get this result:
td3.PNG
td3.PNG (3.8 KiB) Viewed 2267 times
I know that I should provide a testdisklog but from which of the mentioned versions? The Disk Physical or the Drive options?

During one of my scans I accidently choosed Testdisk MBR so I thought that could fix it.
Now it shows up with 2 Primary... (I wish I havent done that MBR Write...)
Have I destroyd my partitiontable and is it possible to recover my partition and files again?
I have not partitioned it myself so its the factory default with one primary.
The files on the crashed harddrive is irreplaceable (VHS digitized familymovies, my musicproduction etc) and I'm totally destroyed...

Please, can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance for a great program!

Please copy/paste the testdisk.log file generated when using PhysicalDrive1, check that you have a sector size of 4096 bytes in the Geometry menu.

Hi!
Thank you for helping me out!
Sorry for my delayed reply!
Had to install a new computer that have USB3-ports so I can use my harddrive at maximum capacity.
So now I'm ready to go!
The PhysicalDrive is now number 2 due to the new computer.

I have cretead a log, choosen PhysicalDrive 2 and checked and the sectionsize is 4096.
Maybe this is a very very stupid question  , but shall I post the log after I have pressed Analyze?
I post it here before Analyze just in case!

Hi!
Shall I start Analyze? Is there any hope to get my partitions back again?
I'm not very familiar with the procedure to go through here...

Hi!
Can someone pleeeaasse help me!
I'm a newbie at this sort of thing, and really dont know how to handle it.
I have read the manual and the examples but I am lost and very afraid that I might make the situation worse...

I'm so sad that I might have lost my familymovies that I digitized forever.
I have posted my logfile and it shows that I have two primary partitions.

Is it possible to ressurect my harddrive?
Shall I post the testdisklog after I have gone through Analyze???
Since it is a 3Tb harddrive, shall I wait for both the Quick and Deep Search are completed and then post the log?
Is it possible to get my partitions and filestructure back again?
Please help me!

Try TestDisk, Advanced, Boot, RebuildBS, List. If you can see your files, choose Write, confirm, Quit.
If it doesn't work, use TestDisk, Analyse, Quick Search and Deeper Search if you see your partition.

Thank you for help!!!

After using the Advanced > Rebuild BS it stopped after quite some time.
Then it listed the files automatically after the Rebuild BS.
I then could see the all files and directorys.
Does this mean that I could (hopefully) get my files back again?

But where is Write?
Couldnt see it in any of the pages in Testdisk...
I'm afraid to turn off my computer now until I find the Write-option...
