Froze during Rebuild - Now drive cannot be found
Hello. I was using TestDisk to try and fix an external hard drive that wasn't working properly. Originally I could see the drive in Windows, but would get an error (think it was something like file system damaged) when trying to access. I was able to find the drive using TestDisk and attempted to rebuildbs, which I left overnight. When I came back the PC appears to have froze and rebooted. This time the drive is not showing in Windows or TestDisk. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks!

It seems to be a serious hardware problem. You should contact a data recovery company.

Even though everything was working fine? Windows saw the drive as well as testdisk. I was able to recover a few things using picturerec. Not sure if something with the software caused the issue or my drive crapped out at that specific time..?
