Testdisk: Partition "unknown" - HELP!

#1 Post by gogoAustria »

I changed the HDD to a SSD on my girlfriends MacBook Pro 2012.
I think the main Partition is/was in "HFS+" format, but Im not sure. It was the standard format which was on the mac when she bought it.

Now I want to copy the old fotos and vids from the HDD to a Windows Computer.
But after clicking some stupid things, the main partition seems to be lost. Paragon wont recognise the main Partition. "Partition magic" only shows me the 2 small Partition too, but not the main one...

Testdisk now says "unknown" type. (Maybe because I changed the Partition from GPT to MBR, or other way round, don't now...)

Im a completly noob, don't really know how to use the terminal on my PC. So can someone give me a step by step explaination to get the data back and read it with a Windows PC?
Is there a way to get my data back?

Here is the screen from TestDisk:

Windows can not read data from HFS+ partition but Mac OS X can read/write on FAT32, NTFS and exFAT filesystems.
There may be extra utilities to allow Windows to read HFS+...
