Truecrypt Volume Header damaged

#1 Post by ddr100 »

Looks like I have damaged volume header on non-system disk, I tried to restore from embedded back up, it restored successfully. Disk mounts just fine, however it says that it's not formatted. I remember that disk was encrypted using AES-Twofish-Serpent encryption, however when I mount the disk TC shows only AES encryption. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Checked with testcrypt analyzer, here is the result: https://ibb.co/jDY7Sd

It's still working, drive is 2 TB, here are details to date.

Looks like I was wrong It had AES encryption only, I believe partition table is broken. Also even though it was 2nd hard rive (not system), I believe it had MBR.
