I deleted and expanded a partition by accident, and I need help recovering the partitions that I lost.
I had a 1.5 TB external hard drive divided into three 500 GB partitions. Two of them were deleted to create a 1 TB and I'm trying to get them back. I tried to use testdisk to recover the partitions and I lost access to all of them in the process. I'll include screenshots below. It'd be great if I could get some guidance and please let me know if you need more information!

Thanks for the reply! The mount button doesn't do anything and when I disconnect and connect the external hard drive, I get this

I was able to see that most of the files are recoverable using disk recovery software but filenames and the directory structure is really important for me as you can imagine!

What is the result of "sudo fsck /dev/disk2s2" ? If it fixes something, run it several times until everything is ok or nothing more can be fixed.
Try it for disk2s3 and disk2s4 too.
