I accidentally deleted my whole 160 G hard disk while windows installation by pressing D, I lost all my data in drives D and E.

I then installed windows in that hard disk by creating partition of 40G, the rest of space was unformatted.

Now I created new partitions of that space (D, E, and F), I want to recover my old data, is there any way to get that data back? I have used recovery tool like Partition Recovery but it returns text, executables and Image files as corrupted files. Any help?

You can try TestDisk, Advanced, Quick Search, Stop, Deeper Search and check the list from each partition found by TestDisk.
If you want to keep/recpver this partition, use the arrow keys to switch it to P(rimary).
On next screen, choose Write, confirm, Quit and restart this computer.
This method will probably remove your "new" XP installation.

ANother possibility is to use PhotoRec, in Options, set the Expert mode, choose Whole Disk, set a blocksize of 512 bytes.
Use the default values otherwise. Be careful to store the recovered files on another disk.
