Hello,
I'm trying to recover a partition from an NTFS external drive
testdisk finds the partition but when I go to write it and reboot - Windows still doesn't detect it
I am able to recover files for it no problem
I can browse the files in testdesk no problem
I do get a
Warning: number of bytes per sector mismatches 4096 (NTFS) != 512 error
see screenshots:

Re: partition found but not being written or detect by windows
Set the partition table type to EFI GPT, Analyse, Quick Search. If your partiton is listed, choose Write, confirm, Quit and restart.
Does it fix the problem ?
