I have Western Digital 2TB (External HDD without Any OS'es Inside/Just Regular Files), but suddenly RAW (not NTFS anymore  )

Image

Image

I can't view any files/structures with TestDisk.

When I choosed Intel (Intel/PC Partition) on the Partition Table list and Start to Analyse, It's shown
Warning: Bad Ending Head (CHS and LBA don't match)
No Partition is Bootable
Try to Locate Partition

Image

But, When I choosed EFI GPT Partition on the Partition Table list and Start to Analyse, It's shown
check_FAT: can't read FAT Boot Sector
No FAT, NTFS, ext2, JFS, Reiser, cramfs, or XFS marker
Try to Locate Partition

Please someone Help Me

Run TestDisk, select /dev/sdb, EFI GPT, Advanced, Boot, RebuildBS, List.
If you can see your files, choose Write, confirm, Quit and restart your computer.
If it doesn't work, try PhotoRec.
Good luck

There's no Boot (RebuildBS) options

I tried PhotoRec_Win.exe and seem like this

Force the type using the "Type" menu to MS Data and NTFS.

The time displayed by PhotoRec seems too high. Does your disk make some unusual noise ?

Slow reading speeds often indicate read errors.

Please check the SMART parameters (health) of your drive with smartmontools or Crystaldiskinfo.
Post your smartmontools logfile here.

Please stop running the extended test because the only tolerable activity is to duplicate the drive.
Use the -a parameter to just read the current state of parameters without testing.

Your drive said:
SMART overall-health self-assessment test result: FAILED!
Drive failure expected in less than 24 hours. SAVE ALL DATA.
I read this message for the first time.
Do not use Testdisk or Photorec on this drive.

You have to decide if you risk further degradation by running ddrescue to create a copy of the readable sectors or if you contact professional companies like Kroll or Attingo for help.
Good luck!
