Hello,
unfortunately, the SD-card in my phone used as a extension of the internal storage has stopped working recently. The phone has not been resetted or formatted since.
With the help of testdisk, I could create a dd-file of the whole sd card on my computer.
Could you please give me some advise on how I can proceed now? My idea was to copy the dd-file on a new sd card (or even the old one) and thereby cloning it.
I use Windows 10, but I also have access to a Ubuntu computer (though very limited skills of using it).
Thank you very much for your help!
Best regards

Re: Recovery of SD-card used as internal storage in Android Phone
Unless there was a physical/electronic problem with the SD card, it will be useless to rewrite the image to a new card.
You can try PhotoRec on the SD card or the image.dd file to recover the data.
