I have a Seagate External HD 500GIG and when plugged into windows 7 it will not show up under MyComputer nor Disk Management. Under XP Home it will show up under MyComputer and Disk Management but won't open. I have used testdisk to analyze and this is what I get . I also want to note I have this drive hooked up using SATA not using the USB. I don't want to format because this drive has soo much important data!!
I hope someone smarter then me can help out
