How can I list all files in a folder?

#1 Post by guessmyusername »

I have been using TestDisk and PhotoRec the last couple of days, and I am pleased to say that they have been useful in recovering my files from a corrupted external hard drive!

However, I am experiencing a couple of limitations with TestDisk that do not allow me to recover all my files from the drive.

When I list my files in TestDisk, folders that contain a lot of files will not display all of the files; for example, when I am trying to copy my music folder, I can only transfer artists whose letters range from A - L.
I tried pressing the down/right arrow to find more files in the folder, but TestDisk cannot find any more files. In short, when I am listing files in TestDisk, how can I show more files in a folder?

And a side question, but can PhotoRec recover files with the correct filename or no?

Thank you in advance for any help!
