Help with partition and data rescue raid5 Intel RST

#1 Post by Johannes195 »

Hello,

I had a INTEL RST Raid 5 with Server 2012 running with 6x1,8 TB disks. One disk get corrupted and it started to rebuild. Unfortunately the rebuild did not work end ended in a raid “failed” status
With one “non member” disk. I recreated the raid with the exact Name and Strip size and order of the disks. And started testdisk.

Testdisk showed me the partitions and I started deeper search. The Search is taking quite a while (Cause one other disk is maybe also damaged)

Now I am at 70% analyze of testdisk and have following error messages :

Disk /dev/md126 – 10001 GB /9315GiB – CHS 2441890048 2 4

You have to rebuild your RAID completely before running testdisk.
