newbie mysql

#1 Post by eeeprom »

I have a fedora 12 system that quit booting correctly and I lost some important mysql datat files so I thought I would try test disk out. It now boots to a 1234F: prompt and that as far as I can go.

Any help would be great.

I do have fedora install cd that I have tried to rebuild the sysimage but it still boots to 1234F:

Boot from Fedora LiveCD and as root, reinstall grub. This way your computer will boot again.
Concerning the mysql database, try TestDisk, Advanced, Undelete but if it doesn't work (filesize listed as 0), I have no other possible solution.
