Sorry that I did not told that before, but :

All recent "MyBook" ARE encrypted, even if ou didn't asked for that. Difference is that if you configure it it's your key for encryption, not the default one. You have to do all your recovery process with your original enclosure (or at least with the original sata-usb adaptator where you will find the little ( :evil: ) ignitio chip.

And default encryption is not the same when changing model.
And sometimes it varies in the same model...
