incorrect size reported

#1 Post by mariano »

I am trying to recover some files from a WD external 250Gb drive, but fdisk -l and parted -l reports it as a 2,2Tb disk.
No partition is showing in testdisk. I attach some files, so someone may give me some help.

Reports.txt= parted -l ; fdisk -l ; lshw output.
some screenshots taken from testdisk & ddrecue.

Thanks in advance,

Mariano

ps: using ubuntu 12.04 64bits

Unfortunately, it looks like a hardware problem. You will have to contact a data recovery specialist if you want to recover your data.
