Left 2TB HDD plugged in when using DBAN (RESOLVED)

#1 Post by xdividerx »

Hi people's,

I've read a few posts regarding this issue already but I still have yet to restore my drive.

I was running DBAN on another drive and left my backup plugged in. I unplugged the drive as soon as the screen showed two drives - about 5 seconds or so.
I ran testdisk and on the first search it came up with the drive too small error. I did the deeper search and it showed the screen that I am up to now but I don't know where to go from here.
Im scared of doing anything in case I make it worse. If anyone can give me tips on the next steps I would really be gratefull.

(Its all good, I ended up working it out! TestDisk is awesome!)
