Interest in MS Data partitions

#1 Post by rockbottomCyl »

I have a SSD hacked early on. on a clean and custom built distro for diags only, table post scan shows multiple partitions found between sectors 61 and 63. Is this common of a corrupt GPT on an ssd. I have not experienced this on a standard disk. The disk says it completes SE successfully but hex shows different. Can dump the hacked firmware for those that care. I can write 61-63 0s direct with hdparm but I am dying to see hidden data. The disk is trash anyway. The parts reappear despite every trick in the bag, and some pretty impressive cloaking. Anybody got any info on ssd's and hidden data is appreciated. Pretty sure this beast is man made.
