TestDisk failed, how to resolve?

#1 Post by andrea90 »

Hi,

yesterday i've got some problem on my pc with w7. When the pc boots and the window's logo comes out, the pc goes in BSOD on reboot with errore 0x0F4.

So i tried to use Linux RIP and the tools Testdisk and maybe i've found the source of the problems :

In a few words : numbers of heads/cylinder mismatches 240 (NTFS) != 255 (HDD)

How to solve that? I didn't try to do other things because I'm not sure of what i'm doing..Need your help ! :)
