I'm a bit worried as I have two of these drives and both are almost full. I've heard nothing but bad things about these. Basically what you described. The drives just stop working. Must be a common problem. I bought these drives to take all the data of my other smaller drives. Now I'm wondering if I should transfer the data back. A real pain in the ass. That or buy a 4TB drive.
